Massachusetts Teacher Careers

Massachusetts is home to the finest - and oldest - university in the nation, Harvard. In all likelihood it is where the first public schools were founded as well, since it was the earliest of the colonies to be established. The first public high school founded in the nation was the English High School, opened in Boston in 1821. Secondary education was a novel concept in the U.S. at the time.
