Connecticut Teacher Careers

Connecticut has many well-to-do school districts in the affluent suburbs, particularly those within commuting distance of Manhattan. The state also has its share of inner city schools, where teacher salaries may not match up with those of the affluent districts but where teachers may be eligible for one of the federal student loan forgiveness programs offered to newly minted educators who are willing to teach in a district with diverse populations or low income students or a teacher shortage for the sciences, math, or technology.
